Mid-West Spring and Stamping is a leader in spring design software development. We use both SMI standard software and our own proprietary calculations that yield more in-depth output data, based on decades of experience.

Due to this unique capability, we have written design software for compression, extension and torsion springs, license free. This software allows you to design any spring for your application, as well as allowing you to enter " what if " loading conditions.

Disclaimer: Our free design software does not include calculations to determine cycle life. It gives standard stress results , but should NOT be used to determine life.
Always consult our engineers for all fatigue and cycle life data that you need.

To operate your free spring designer, download and save the following folder to your hard drive. After downloading and extracting the files, doubleclick Spring Designer, and your calculator will start!!!
