Compression Springs
Typical applications for compression springs include uses in: Fluid/air control, automotive, switches,
off-road equipment, and aerospace equipment. Mid-West manufactures compression springs in round wire
with diameters from .003" to .625", as well as square and rectangular wires and hot wound
springs in wire diameters up to 1 7/8" for heavy duty applications..
Extension Springs
Typical applications for extension springs include uses in: Appliances, window components,
lawn and garden equipment and many OEM applications. Mid-West extension springs come in
wire diameters from .003" to .625". Rectangular wire springs and extension
springs are engineered to customer specifications.
In order to offer our customers the highest level of service, Mid-West Spring
produces custom extension springs of all types.
Torsion Springs
Typical applications for torsion springs include uses in: automotive, irrigation, and heavy farm and construction equipment. Mid-West manufactures Torsion springs with wire diameters from .003" to .625". Square wire torsion springs are also available.
Hot Wound Springs
Typical applications for hot wound springs include uses in: Transportation and industrial applications. Hot Wound Springs manufactured by Mid-West spring are made of Alloy Steel in sizes from .500 up to 1 7/8" diameter. We stock a large inventory of Steel Sizes to accommodate quick deliveries.
Additionally, The Mid-West Spring Azusa plant occupies approximately 35,000 square feet and specializes in larger hot wound spring and coil capabilities. The material wire sizes that Azusa handles are from .325" to 1 7/8" bar.
Clock Springs
Mid-West Spring also manufactures a wide variety of Clock Springs for use in numerous demanding applications such as in the transportation, energy, industrial, and automotive industries.
Flat Springs
Flat springs produced by Mid-West Spring and Stamping come in an unlimited variety of configurations and shapes. Mid-West Spring manufactures flat springs from various grades of materials such as steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and more. We also form flat springs in a variety of sizes to suit your specific needs.
Die springs
Die springs are primarily used in die machinery. Additionally, die springs are also
suitable for usage in many other applications, as they are well suited to high-shock
and stress applications where cycle life is an important factor.
Leaf and Suspension Springs
Landrum Spring manufactures a variety of leaf springs to accommodate a wide range
of chassis configuration and weight. We manufacture leaf springs for both asphalt
and dirt performance as well as both light weight and extra heavy weight
configurations ranging from up to 2750 in lightweight models, to 3800 in extra
heavy weight models.
